infinity kappa perfect 6.1 ***** to tune but they do sound good.

IMO they still lack MB in a sealed or ported kick envirnment. I have seen and used better for the money.

Oh and not to mention that the tweets are harsh as funk.

compared to Alpine Type R's, CDT CL62's, Kicker Resolutions

thats the only one's i;ve had in the same truck.

Destruction- Out of the type r's and the kicker res., which ones did you like better? I've been hearing alot of good about the Pioneer Rev's and i was thinking about giving them a try. I really dont want to save up and spend more than 160 on these components b/c i have about 270 for components and an amp.

I've heard the Type S, R, and X and also the infiniti kappa's and i like the X's and the Kappa's the best. What about the CDT -EF61's? Some guy on here can get them to me for 170 shipped? I've heard mixed reviews about CDT but is that like one of there lower lines or what?

I have the pg xenons, and the sound great. I have had them for a while, and I just recently tweaked my eq, and crossed them over lower, and wow they sound amazing. Definately worth every penny, and you will be suprised how good they sound for the cheap price they go for. The zrs you have listed have better midbass, but the midrange, and overall sq isnt as good. They are both good sets though.

JL XR, Diamond D6, and Alpine Type X can be had within 25-30 bucks more than any of these

A guy has a BNIB set of X's fs on the forums. It's worth spending that 30 bucks, in my honest opinion.

I was reading all of your suggestions and I was looking for something really SQL.

would the Pioneer Rev's be better than the PG x6.5's? Or will one of the last 3 comps suggested be quite loud at 75rms? I have a HU tht does 50x4, which I hear that that's probably the max rating, and most HU's never live up to sending thatamount of wattage.. if thats the case, I wouldnt mind the JL XRs

If you get components you def. need to amp them. You headunit is nowhere near what it should be.
