Really want yalls opinion on which ones i should get. I dont have the money to just be changing them out and stuff so i want to do it right the first time. Which one's would you guys pick out of these or if there are some other ones that you know of that are as good then chime in. Please tell me why and everything too. Im not really an expert on the speaker parts of system so im counting on yall to tell me whats best. I appreciate it!

New Components im looking at are:

CDT- EF61

PG X6.5 ( heard alot of good about these)

i voted type-r because i've never heard any of them, i just wanted to be the first person to vote. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Hehe actually i've heard the pioneer rev coaxial's and they're pretty sweet so id have to assume their components would be nice too. I also noticed u didnt have boston acoustics on the list and id have to recomend them too. You can find the BA SX60's at millionbuy.com for $169. I also checked the Rev's and they are also $169 there.

Those are all pretty mediocre.

You can score Alpine Type-X's for about $180-$200. A world of a difference better sounding than what you have listed. I've seen JL XR's go for about that price as well.

does it really matter?
Not too much -- unless you care to research.

You can buy the same drivers from the EF series for A LOT less, but you would have to wire them actively.

And even then, they're still simply mediocre.

CDT's are known for their sonic signature which a lot of audiophiles don't particulary like...

The ef cdt drivers are not even vifa drivers. Only the hd and es are closer matches to the vifa drivers. also the alpine type x's those are vifa drivers.

I see the kickers are winning the poll, are those the best out of those? I know these aren't the best but thats all i got for they money. It actually more like under $160 but whatever. I dont really know much about the Boston Acoustics, DA's, or CDT's so i dont really know which ones are good and i always thought they were to expensive. I would get the Alpine Type-X's like you guys suggested but the cheapest i can find them is like $205.

I didnt vote. I personally think if you are waniting to do it right and not want to change, you should save up some more money and buy a nicer set.
