Do you need batter terminals or is it okay to have 1 ring terminal on top of another ring terminal?

It's fine to stack them so long as they're making a good tight connection.

There was a separate bolt and nut on the OE terminal connected to my positive post, so I stacked ring terminals on there. There's only two rings and the system is under 1kW RMS and the two runs are 4ga, but I've never had a problem.

I think it's more of a convenience thing; I can definitely see the need if you're running multiple 0ga runs simply because there'd be no room to fit all that in a tight space.

yeah, im running multiple 0 gauge big 3 and 0 gauge for power,

all I can find are these basic ones

So I will have to put at least 2 side by side,

Im in the same boat as you as I am about to do the big 3 and need to run multiple runs from batt to back. I cant find terminals with multi holes for 0 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

i found some at princess auto but its only 4 and 8 gauges, and I dont want to order online, but if its safe to stack side by side i will probably just do that

Hg customs makes some very nice batt terminals to fit your needs

Pick up some marine terminals. Super cheap and easy to hook up multiple runs with ring terminals.
