battery terminal plus head unit wire question

Hello,

2 questions:

How many of those ring terminal things can I have coming off a batter terminal? Is it okay if the amp power wire and whatever other wires I have coming off there are touching right at the terminal?

And since Im going to have an amp running the components I believe the 590ib manual says to not connect the headunit to the front speaker wires but the wiring harness wires are already stripped at the end so is it ok if I stick a metal crimp covered in plastic on the end? I just dont want to screw up my equipment.

Thanks

nice name and no i dont think it matters as long as you dont have like 5 things coming off one terminal...and also no just cut the wire thats going to where the stock ones are and tape em up then there shouldnt be any problem

nice name

Thanks for that and the response. Im just trying to make sure because I have never messed with battery terminals and want to be very careful. I would have ordered terminals off the internet if I would have realized what I needed but now my stuff is here and I dont want to wait for terminals. I might buy some terminals locally if I can find them for a decent price. Would I be better off at autozone or a audio shop?

walmart has em i believe prob pep boys or autozone too i dont think it matters really

Ive come up with one more rediculous question that I cant find the answer to by searching.

I was planning on mounting my amp under the seat until I read "DO NOT MOUNT AMP TO A METAL SURFACE" on an amp installation guide website. Well in my amp manual it says nothing about this, it just says to watch out for gas and brake lines and what not. So will screwing the amp in strait under my seat and into metal blow things up? And how do I know where its safe to drill?

Screw it ill probably just make a rack for it like I saw this guy do and stick my crossovers on there too. I would of prefered to have it under the seat though and Im still curious if its ok to just drill strait into the floor?
