You know,

If all else fails, you could just rebuild the terminal with molten lead. Just make a post terminal or bury a ring in several layers of lead? - if it's worth that much trouble.

who has molten lead laying around??? I got a nut and put JB weld around it. After the weld dries I'll see if the nut will stay totally affixed. if so I'm good, the top of the nut reads proper voltage.
