battery terminal broke off

i talked to Mr penn. try and fix it, if you cant ill ship out another battery for you ASAP. make sure you do a semi professional job. drill a small hole and tap it with a tap then run a larger size bolt try and get a tap with lil bit of tread that are bigg. the terms are lead so i donno bout welding it .
lets see if I can find my 5/16" drill bit //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/greedy.gif.5a53e6246569d7ab79867170f3b06629.gif

making progress:

doesn't seem like it would be the greatest idea to get a hot flame from a welding torch anywhere near a battery. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif
welding torch isnt exactly the thing for tacking or any clean weld. i wouldnt want to weld on a battery anyway with a different method, due to the power from them.

i am not sure how much post is left, but you may be able to drill and tap it for a screw, or put a smaller bolt all the way through it with a nut on the back side.
