Battery promblems!!

ok pt2 of my pos car..okay well i swapt batteries and my light still comes on..checked the alt wit my meter and yep it reads 12v on idle which is not good so i need a new alt..okay here's the deal my stock alt on my car is 105a and i can get that at this place around my way for $70 and a 140a for $165 and a 165a for around $185..all this comes wit a lifetime warranty. but the thing is i dont plan on keeping this car for a long time cuz im in the prodcess of getting a new car but i want to be bumpin my music for the meantime..question is that wit a new stock alt and wit big3 should i be fine wit my setup or this is gonna happen again?

it's the internet. of course noone cares. if you're getting rid of the car anyway, i would put in a stock/cheap alt. (so you don't get stranded) and possibly do the big 3. you're running some decent power. the only way i would put a ho alt. in is if you're buying the same model car and can swap later.

Have you checked to make sure all your wiring is connected as solid as possible and free of corrosion?

I don't see why that would be a problem hell I ran a vfl 150.1 at 1 ohm on a stock 63a alt.

You should consider what I mentioned also. I've seen some pretty large voltage drops because of a little bit of corrosion in a wire.

theres no corrosion wats so ever..i even put new screws on my terminals..its just a pos car shit dont like bass

ima have this fix tomorow and ima leave work early...but wats crazy is that my lights never dimm but my t1 pwnd my alty..i guess it was already goin bad lol
