Battery Meter

Is there some way to know how much time (doesn't have to be exact or anything) I have before my battery will not start my truck?

I'm thinking tailgating situations where I'm running a power inverter and stereo system (not high volumes) over a long length of time.

So is there some way to half-way accuretly monitor that? So I can make sure there will still be enough starting juice.

i actually saw a meter when i was searching early that had time and volts read out on it, not sure if it will do what u want it to do . i saw it on e-bay

i think there is something called a battery buddie, it will shut down everything when battery is low but keeps enough to start
