Battery Isolator Question

Hey guys. Check out this thread first:

I know the OP's initial question was related to an isolator, and a lot of folks here will say they are not needed. Personally, if I was to add a second battery under the hood of my '08 Silverado (and there is a space to do so), I would probably go with a Hellroaring isolator to keep the OEM electrical/starter battery separate from the car audio battery. I'd just feel more comfortable with that approach and I think if there were any current draw issues (like headlights dimming) an isolator may also address that issue.

Of course, I could be wrong and I know that if I am, there are many out there ready to jump on in and crush me like a bug. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
