I think hes kidding. You would know the SECOND you bridged the terminals it is not cool. Lots of sparks, wire would get hot as hell, probly melt.

although once I welded a screwdriver to the posts...a few hundred amps welds steel quite nicely...i always use insulated tools now and disconnect the terminals first.
