Basscort2009's ONGOING build log :D

u need the distance off the wall to be at least the same size or more then the port opening. so if the tube/port is 8" u need it 8" or more of the back wall otherwise the tuning will be wrong

thought it was half the distance. I had an 8" sonotube and put it 4'' from the back.

oh yea i accounted for that. tuned to 35 so with it being 6 instead of 8 off the back wall i guessed it is around 33-34.

ok so i finally finished the new daily box. its 5.5 cubes after sub and port tuned to 34. sounds amazing overall probly the best sounding box ive built yet as far as flat response from 20-80 htz range. its awesome. i played it for about 30 minutes and then BOOM! the RCAs grounded out because the HU ground internally broke. i had to pull the radio and reground the HU using 16 gauge bare wire wrapped around the RCA jack shielding. worked perfect though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

will have numbers and vids by tomorrow from the show in dallas.

alright all the pics are on my buddys cam. will have to wait couple days. anyways i did a 152.2 at 48 htz with a clamped 5500 watts. not bad in a 33 htz tuned box. once i get the other box in there that has done a 154.0 with the level 5 i should be good. i also gained .9 last time when swapping the 5 for the 6. if so this time then theoretically i will be at a 154.9 with 2 amps. cant wait to get all 4. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

trunks are sper hard but fun to me. trunks not that big. hence the wedge box to get every inch i could. box is like 5.5 cubes after displacment.
well i might see u in the lanes someday... got a similar build planned if I decide to go with a trunk... jus gotta find out all the rules for trunk competition cuz its a ***** tryin to get spl out of a trunk w/ batts AND amps all back there lol

ok so got a new 4 channel today and it rocks.

the new 4 channel (matching crossfire bm400.4) is amazing and makes my setup sound so much more cleaner and louder at the same time. ridiculous how nice this amp is. rated at 50x4 at 12.5 volts. im running 2 channels at 2 ohms so probly around 100 rms or more each channel. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

i dont know what it is about my car but it will get deep cleaned and within 3 days its like that. it was seriously cleaned 3 days ago. i think cuz im in and out with subs, boxs, amps, expanding foam, deadner, wire, speakers ect... on a consistant basis it just gets messy super fast.
