hi

im running two 12" audiobahns aw1206t at 1100 rms on a lanzar 4000 2 channel what kind of box would be the best for this setup the bandpass box i have them in or a dual slot vent box , or another kind of box.? any suggestions?

A well built custom ported box will kill that prefab bandpass.

it obvious some of u guys dont understand how bandpass boxes work

if anybody wants to know i will glad point them in the ight direction

and for the record..bandpass boxes r not the end all be all of boxes...there are certain boxes for certain applications and for people who r looking for a certian sound...personally i wouldnt recomend a bandpass box for a sq setup..thats just my opinion...but for a spl setup yes...to reinforce certain frequecies..yes(cuz a properly designed bandpass u can have it tuned so it plays certain frequecies very loud)

but anyway ....whoever wants to know more get at me

80 is right each kind of box is for diffrent frequinces and it depends how that person wants there bass what kind of music they listen to the trunk size of there car how much air flow there gonna get what there running etc..... so its all basically on that persons opinion of how they want there bass some people out there just want for competition only others just want a lil bump in a the trunk so guess what im saying is everyone has a diffrent taste of how they want there system to bump

80 is right. Properly designed BP can be awesome and eat other boxes alive in their designated bandwidth. Prefab BP however = teh lose.
