Bandpass BOX on ebay

are these boxes alright to use for 2-12" subs? or are these things just garbage? any info would be appreciated.

For SQ you should seal, if you want a little bump in your trunk, a ported box tuned low...

I love it how everyone starts somewhere...since he had no idea that Bandpass if just strictly for SPL. I was just the same when I started this

But yeah Ported would be great, gives you SQ and SPL

But if you want strictly SQ then go sealed for sure. Banpasses arn't good at all!

they are complicated to build ( in the same sense that ported boxes specifically tuned are harder to build than a sealed box) but when done right will yild awsome results.....but ya premade one ESPECIALLY OFF EBAY are gaaarrbbaaggeee

last box i boght off ebay that was "perfect condition" was a fancy selaed box for 3 10's................ THE HOLES FOR THE SUB WERE OFF, like WAY off, i had to get a router and resaw the hole to make it closer to a circle......and the box had leaks...

trust me when i say for that kind of money u should buy one at a flea market since the quality will be just a smiggin better but u can check for leaks and other misformities...

besides...a plane old but well built sealed box will sound a whole hell of alot better than a poorly built bandpass, i gareentee it

Totally off-topic....but if you'll do a bit of investigating into that particular seller you'll easily find that ^^^ disclaimer on every single listing for a sub enclosure, regardless of type ~ sealed, vented, or bandpass.

maybe the person miscalculated cuz there is so much mirrors and chrome on the thing.
