Ok guys, So i got a 92' Ford F-150 Extended cab

2 Rockford P3's Dual 4 ohm

Kicker KX1200.1

Think I should run ported or sealed in the truck? Box wont fit under/behind seat unless i modified it, so probably going to sit on the backseat braced down, I can flip the seats so it is like a flat metal surface....I currently have a ported box in there, and it doesnt sound the best, but it might be the size of the box, Ideas?

Thanks In Advance!

What size P3s?

Generally, ONE subwoofer in the proper enclosure will sound better than TWO subs in the wrong size enclosure. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Yeah, and I even tried two JL W3's in a "High output Wedge box" that I see W3's in all the time, and it didnt sound very great in my truck, but it sounded almost as loud as my two P3's which isnt right

The subs are 12" and the box that they are in was designed by Supergumby5000 and built by me. I have two of the exact same boxes because I had it walled in my car, and took it out for the winter....I dont got the dimensions off hand, can get them, but i want to say they came out to be like 3-3.3cubes for the box? for the two 12s....and it was tuned higher 30's i believe

To get a deep response out of them, bass box pro recommends 5.1 cubic feet net tuned to 33 Hz for the P3SD412 in a high fidelity enclosure.

The same program recommends 4.6 cubic feet net tuned to 32 Hz for the P3SD212 in a high fidelity enclosure.

Granted, these are just basic starting points and it depends on what your overall goal is.
