Ok im having trouble finding subs and an amp to fit me mostly because i dont know how much bass 'x' watts will produce ('x' being a variable) And say i get two 200 watt RMS power subs (i dont know how much bas that will produce) what kind of amp should i get? should i match one sub and get a 200 watt amp or get a 400 watt amp??

first off you need to shoot for something. sq or spl? how much money are we working with? obviously i would take 400watts over 200watts, unless you're talking 400max vs 200rms then i dont know what else to tell you.

sq= sound quality

spl= loud (sound pressure level)

Stay away from the Sony

The MTX is better but not great IMO.

You might look into something like this

Are you wanting 1 or 2 subs?

$250 is not much to work with, especially if you are wanting 2 subs.

i agree. for people on limited money i would suggest one good sub and amp as opposed to 2 half decent subs in a sub par box. Id say save the money on the second sub and get a decent sub and amp and custom box and you would probably save a lil moeny and be much happier

yea, i was at bestbuy today and i was looking at 2 10" punch subs, good price for 2 but i asked it if it would smarter to get one sub worth the 2 and bridge the amp. Ill check that link rattle thanks for the help, if you have any other links to a good deal it would be very appreciate,thanks.
