I have decided to keep the Solid Audio F2500D

NIB 21" Autotek Subwoofer. Only 40-50 made total.

4-inch dual voice coil with edge-wound 18-gauge wire, upgraded VC from the original.

triple 150-ounce magnets, 480 motor/magnet structure.

It can be, but most diy'ers are going to build their own box anyways...the box is very small, but the sub models out to liking really small ported boxes, so...

The thing is pretty damn heavy. The box is made of doubled-up 5/8 MDF...so 1-1/4" all around. I could barely get the sub out of the box with my bare hands, almost had to pry it up to get a finger underneath the flange...still hurt my damn fingers though.

I hooked the sub up today to make sure it worked...thing is a beast, and only off of 1kw. I can't imagine what 3-4kw can do.
