anyone know a lot about computers ? maybe you can help me find what im looking for. i got the idea of using a water cooling system for my amp. like what ive seen done with computers. My question is how much does this cost and where can i buy a cooling system that will work. ive seen some made for computers that flow through flexible tubes that i think would work great for my amp. any one got any ideas. i use a 4400 rms Ma Audio amp with digital temp readout but when it gets to 180 degrees it shuts down. this is the only bug i have left to work out now. i even got the 16 volt system in from turbo start. any one know how i can do this ? or where i can buy it ??????

i dont see why this wouldnt work any one have any other ideas why it wouldnt? it shouldnt create any condensation if it works in a pc it should work running through a car audio amp right? same principals.

I've seen a guy with N20 cooling his amps before. Pretty sweet system, and he could purge it into his engine too. lol. It was on a white 240sx with all Phoenix Gold Titanium Gear.

bazooka amps used to do this and ppi art series had a form of extra coolant too. but as far as usingliquid cooling being made for computers alot of the sinks are bulky but sum arent. i would aslo run aluminum tubing down the length of both sides of the heatsink. when i was in hs like 808808 years ago i sucked doing anything with metal except solder lol so if ur are good at milling stuff i say go for it. i wouldnt buy the whole kits though just the pump and some tubing and when you set up the aluminum pipes make sure they dont leak lol

I know a guy who built his own water cooling system for his computer, and condensation formed over the lines destroying his computer. Not something i would try thats for sure...

Theres a coating you're supposed to apply to you pc components to stop condensation from happening when you install a water cooling system. Water cooling an amp seems pretty diffucult considering all the surface area you need to have with the amp; that'd one huge water block!

everyone i seen uses a non corrosive none condensing liquid non conductive too
