Attaching sub to box

Hey guys, do you guys like the screws you use to attach the sub to the box to be long enough to go all the way through the mdf? Or just shorter?

I generally use T-nuts and machine thread bolts...3/4" #10-32 worked pretty well last time

1.25 in screws into a double baffle here. So, just a hair short. But if it's a single baffle I use a 1".

Either way works.. T-nuts are probably the most secure. And make sure to pick up some of this so there's no air leaks around the subs. It's the same as weatherstripping you can pick up from Lowes or Home Depot, but it's thinner and easier to work with, and you get 50' of it.
