Ask a guy starting his second semester of law school today anything

I do have to say that people that are interested in law school, don't listen to all the people that say how horrible and how much reading there is. The reading is not that bad, usually like 20-30 pages a class, but that is only 2-3 cases usually. Plus i only have 2 classes a day, so usually i only have to do readings for 2 classes a day. If you are interested in this kind of stuff, it's great. It's a lot harder than college obviously, but i am happier in these classes than in college, because they are actually interesting and I learn things, rather than just go on the internet and sleep like I did in college classes.

The social atmosphere is basically the same as college. People go out 3x per week to parties and whatever. There are the people that never go out and study 24/7, but they do not seem to be doing any better than those of us that had a balance between life and school, and they are probably completely burned out for the entire year already from doing that for an entire semester. I studied for my contracts final for a little over 2 weeks and got a B+ on the final (3.5), and there are peopel who were studying 3 month straight for the final and got B's and C's, so really think long and hard about studying all day everyday because it might not benefit you. Force curves mean putting in 10000 hours of studying won't guaruntee anything, because some people have to get C's no matter what, and everyone in law school is smart and dedicated.
