Ascendant Audio Ava, 04 Dodge Stratus R/T Coupe Build...56k beware

Well they are small, so there are a few places I can put them, but I haven't decieded yet. They need to go somewhere I can get to them if I need to adjust anything, and in a spot where the wires can be hidden.

I was considering behind the seat, perhaps at a slight angle, but I can stack them if I need to.

Def. would not have cut eh baffle adjacent to the sub cutout. Serious issue with strength there. I would have made the center section with the sub cutout a single rectangular piece and then added the curved "wings" as separate pieces. I would have reinforced the joints between the sections on the inside of the box with strips of MDF about 6" wide that ran the full length of the seam sealed with silicone and secured with screws about every 6" staggered on either side of the joint. That way you could get it apart if needed but it would be airtight and strong otherwise. Another though would be to have doubled up the center section with the top piece about 3" narrower on either side than the bottom. Then add the "wings" as above. Shouldn't need any more reinforcement beyond that. Just a thought.

lol, a thought alright //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif...and you're probably right, but I'm lazy, I may put some angle iron in or some 2x4's....perhaps I'll add some rings around the cutout to beef it up a lil as well. Thanks for the input I know you mean well, so I'll go do some thinking...

Ok now, glad I got something else done and out of the way~ Glued and screwed the middle piece in, now alls I have to do is some reinforcement and bracing then hook up and wire my battery + sub amp, after that, I can finally test out my system.

I dont have a TL though so I dunno when I might get it metered, cant wait to see how this will perform.

anyways I got amp pics in for ya, the amp on the left hand side is the 1k rms watt sub amp, the one on the right is 300x2 rms watts component amp.

Here are the pics, used a 1 dollar bill for size reference:
