Hoping to get done before new years, I plan on going to the tampa/clearwater meet. :cheers:

So far...I've bought a lot of tools and got set back (need mo money) because of which, moved into a new place on the beach and paying more rent/bills every month, so unforchanetly I don't have all the money yet to get my component speakers and amplifiers.

I plan on getting a set of Rainbows, the Powerline CS Series, and get an alpine pdx amp to power them, about 300 watts RMS each side.

As for the subwoofer, I'm going to get another alpine pdx amp, the pdx 1.1000, and put a little over a 1000 watts to it. The Electrical consist of the biggest yellowtop optima makes, and a 200 amp alternator from excessive amperage.

I have however added all of this stuff to my collection and project, not seen is 2 4x8 sheets of 3/4" mdf, and 2 8' 2"x4" for bracing (just got it today)...and the fiberglass is in that box behind the stuff in the pic...the alternator pictured is an 85amp, the 200 amp already installed along with RCA's, speaker wire, and the 0 gauge wires.

Still thinking of where to mount the sub, it's bigger than the hole there, that hole is ~16"s and the sub is an 18", thinking about going back a few inches behind the wall there, and making a baffle to cover the hole...

The Foam I used at first was a 2 part, 2lb per cubic foot pourable foam, it came out very strong, alot better than the great stuff crap, I suggest try some, I got it from uscomposits.com in florida, north of miami.

how does the speakers being where they are in the door juve with imaging?

It isn't centered...didn't stage it right at the time, but I plan on filling the hole with FG, or something, and paint it...and FG the new comps, and deaden the doors when I get the rest of my speakers.

Thanks, I crimped the ring terminals, grabbed a turbo torch, and some plumber's solder/flux and soldered the ring terminals... can't see it though because of the tape. It isn't going anywhere...I also have a new inline fuse for the wire going to the trunk, it isn't hooked up, and that's why the positive terminal has an open spot.

.. and how'd you tie the stock battery cables into the 1/0? I want to get some battery terminals and do the same, but I'm not sure how to.

What I did was, I used a razor to cut the insulation off the o gauge without cutting the wire, took a 0 gauge crimp ring terminal, bolted to the stock harness, and then crimped it around the wire...to make sure it won't come off, I used a metal clamp for hoses, ect, and cranked it over the crimped ring terminal, then taped over with some electrical tape.
