Hey,

Bored so I figured I would get others input. I just wondered if any one is absolutly happy with there set-ups. I had 3 JL Audio 13W7's in an explorer off 3 1000/1 slash series JL amps. Lots of cabin room, sounded good, fair amount of flex. Had to ditch the AWD V-8 gas guzzler for a grand prix. With less room I decided to go wth the best 12's I could find ( so i thought ). Anyways Now I have 5K going to 2 12" RE Audio XXX's (no where near 80% of the builds on here,, you guys are amazing) and there alright, but I want more lol I guess I could have 4 Billion 18" subs and I would be planning a new build with 4,000,000,001 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif lol Just wondered if it's just me, or others get the itch for more power even with a good set-up

Im happy for the first few weeks, then i get dissatisfied...it usually takes me about 6 monthes to change my system tho..And I have never had anything competition worthy. The one I currently have is the loudest, and on its best day might hit 140, but its probley closer to 138 or so due to tuning

haven't been completely happy with a set up since i started this hobby/addiction. that being said.......

new build starting this week //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I actually went to a competition for the first time in about a year last weekend and without even tuning my **** (or even looking at the settings) I popped a 151.9 at the headrest. I lol'ed and got 3 trophies out of it.

I was happy until I came on here and found out a capacitor wasn't needed...

I was happy until I came on here and found out about cone area and that 1 15 has more than 2 10's...

I was happy until I found out that a 3 way component setup sounds better than a 3-way 6.5...

and I was happy until I found that my old subs couldn't play all the notes on Late Nite Tip //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif

I was happy until I came on here and got info lol, but I'm glad I did, no telling wtf I'ma get next

It would also be easy to add an equalizer to have individual rca inputs for all of the channels. A decent one can be had for less than $40...
