I honestly could not care less about Floyd, his family, rioters, most of the protesters, celebrities and government officials virtue signaling. But I do see the need for a change in restraining tactics. The man was down, his hands on his back, with two other officers on his back and another standing by. It looked to me as if the kneeler was enjoying a hero complex(a kind of giddiness derived from submission of another). So that in my eyes, is abuse.
An obvious observation I see nobody mentioning is, why was Floyd wrestled to the ground. Answer: He was fighting the law. When you start wrestling/fighting with another man, it is to subdue him. What would Floyd have done after subduing the officer? Would he have run away(leave friends and truck behind), punched officer in the ground, take officers gun? These are questions that race through an officers mind in the instant the struggle begins. As a Law Enforcement officer, you have firsthand knowledge of situations going south pdq. Because of no personal relationship with people they encounter, it is impossible to meter how the person will react in said encounter.
To wrap up, I think Floyd messed up. He was high, maybe still had drugs, and made the wrong choice. There already was consequences associated with his actions, but he chose to act further. So answer is no, I do not back Floyd.

You are quite the sheep. Can you share the autopsy report that shows he was high on meth? Even being so, was he being violent with the police or was he complying when he was killed? Video evidence show he was complying. Being high and compliant with cops doesnt give them a reason to kill you.

Absolutely 100 percent. The man didn't deserve to die. Also the last part of that is fukking garbage. I haven't read anything anywhere about him being on meth. He had fentanyl in his system and he also had Covid-19. The cop killed him bro, and it seems now that it was personal. Wasn't the first time the Chauvin had a run in with Floyd.

The cop killed him and will be in jail for the rest of his life. He will most likely be in solitary confinement to avoid being killed by other inmates. The whole story will come out in court eventually. There had to be a reason why the cops wrestled him to the ground. The video doesn't show the whole incident. Chauvin is definitely a rogue cop who is an embarrassment to law enforcement and people in general. He should actually get the death penalty for his actions, IMO.

I dont think its a slam dunk case. I was actually surprise when they upgraded the charges from manslaughter to second degree murder. Word is though that they did because they offered him a deal and instead of taken it he decided to play hardball. And lost. They'll convict him because imagine if they dont.

He had one cop on him for 9 minutes, let's not exaggerate now. Chauvin will get his, no doubt. But, putting the two cops who were on their third and fourth shifts in jail for 50 years solves nothing.

I don't like when people post false ****. So, they get called out on it. What would putting the tow rookie cops in jail for 50 years solve. Imagine, it's your third shift as t work and you don't call out the person training you and you end up in jail for 50 years. That is fugked up.
