If the Nom is 4 and its a Dual voice coil then its a Dual 2......Most sites have the NOm for when it is wired in series

^^^ this man is a thinker! I'm pretty sure that the .4 v-max's are dual 4 ohm and the .2 v-max's are dual 2 ohm.. ime, they usually just say dual 4 ohm or dual 2 ohm, nothin else

best bet, contact CV, could save you lots of headaches

I think you have been given some solid suggestions... legacy, lanzar, power acoustic... are low end amps that should not be considered.

I read the manual i think its say if you series wire the 15.4 then it will be 8 ohms and if you parelle wire it it will be 2 ohms

if this is the case you have a dual 4 ohm sub.

Look for something that makes powwer @ 2 ohms and PA amps arent bad but there are better amps suited to your needs for the same money.

the kicker and alpine suggested above are both great quaulity amps that will make their rated power + some and will last you a long time if you dont abuse them.

If you had ever been around the Lanzar Optidrives, you would NEVER place Lanzar in the same category as those other two ever again. Outstanding amplifiers, classics now. Normally Id agree Lanzar is not a great name otherwise however.
