I started with PA they will never give you the power that they rate their amps, They will also work for awhile but will always die to soon. My suggestion because I saw the post where you said $175 max is to go with Hifonics decent quality and great power to dollar ratio. Do Not buy Any amp that says it will do more than 1200 watts for under $175 you will not get you money's worth ( trust me been there done that)

I read the manual i think its say if you series wire the 15.4 then it will be 8 ohms and if you parelle wire it it will be 2 ohms

If you get the 15.4 wire to 2ohm

If you get the 15.2 wire to 1ohm

Hifonics will fit in your budget, and be careful of when you buy on millionbuy.com 40% of what they sell is JUNK. Research and I promise you will get a good deal for you money. Do not be afraid to buy used, you can get some high end gear for your money if you look

If you had ever been around the Lanzar Optidrives, you would NEVER place Lanzar in the same category as those other two ever again. Outstanding amplifiers, classics now. Normally Id agree Lanzar is not a great name otherwise however.

The place I used to work at sold alot of Lanzar Vibes which were OK at the time (mid to late 90's) and the older OPTI's are great... today's product = soso.

Listen Dude, I am almost as new as you are with one exception. Im about $1500.00 in the hole buying stuff like you asked about above. I didnt get real clear answers to my questions so I just bought the lowest price stuff I could find assuming if it has the same specs then it would be OK. What the HELL you say, Amplifing a signal isnt rocket science.

After blowing up so much stuff I finally realized I had to start from scratch and buy better quality equipment. If you look at my Sig you will see I have a very modest SQ system that sounds great but it doesnt slam. Thats because I wasted so much money on cheap stuff and what I have now is all I could afford.

Use the search for any and all information about anything you want to purchase. Believe me it only costs a little more for good equipment.

The main reason for my previous post to stop you from making the same mistake alot of us have already made. PA,Legacy,Pyle, and newer Lanzar make their living off of newbies not informed customer.
