im a noob naturally i wanna find a good amp to power a 15.4 Cerwin Vega VMAX heres some of my selections since most amps dont give the true watts stated

my freind a know it all said i should get a 2400 watt amp and hardly turned it up to get true watts to it w.e man im just gonna bridge my speaker into a 4 ohm single load

wire it to the sub to 2 ohm (assuming its dvc4) and look on ebay for 2 ohm stable amps.

first.. your friend is an idiot, that subs rms is only 600 watts, with a quality amp, you wont need 2400 watts

well im lost, cerwin says its a dual voice coil sub but its nom is 4 ohm

if its a 4 ohm sub, go with US Amps, if its 2 ohm, the Alpine

and i wouldnt buy a Lanzar or Leg amp

if its a dual 4 ohm voice coil, it can be wired in to 2 or 8 ohms

if its a dual 2 ohm, it can be wired in to 1 or 4 ohms

if its a single 4 ohm coil, it can only be wired up 4 ohms

....2 coil, can be only wire up 2 ohms
