I can sell you my MB Quart ONX 1600.1 amp for $150 shipped and insured. It's in like new condition only 3 months old. No scratches or anything. Also made by maxxsonics like the hifonics but the MB's tend to be a little better than them. It'll power those sundowns perfect

I would avoid the Hifonics Z series. Not because they're junk but because they aren't rated based on CEA 2006 standards. All of the other Hifonics amps are, so you'll know what the amp will do when you buy it.
As for using 4 gauge, I wouldn't use it. If you want to save money on wire, use 2 gauge CCA. It will carry enough current to power the amps you're looking at well and it isn't very expensive.

^^THAT means nothing. Sundown, DC, DD, American Bass, Audio/Soundqubed etc. None of those are CEA Compliant and there are next to no HFI amps in the same league as anyone of those i named. Some of the older HFI amps where pretty good, but even the BRZ1700.1 metioned in this thread, tho its the best choice he had listed, it still will not do rated clean, but will get close.

I think it would be fine for the SA's, but I ran zero guage wire with mine. I'm sure 4 guage would be ok.

If you prefer new there are about $200 from VMI. If you look in the vendor section and talk to Lucky he may be able to get you a little bit of a discount. Your box will be the most important part of your build.
