AQ 1200D problem..

latly my AQ1200d has been acting up on me. i noticed this problem happening about 2 weeks ago. the amp sometimes goes into protect mode at random times, i noticed this because i went to turn my volume up on my head unit and i noticed no bass coming from the rear, so im like WTF.. so i keep it up around 25 or so then it just instantly kicks in, scares the shit outta me TBH.. then about 3 mins later it goes back into protect then on again, and didnt do it again for a few days...

well tonight on my ride home, it didnt work at all.. so i was about half way home down the interstate and my bass kicks in and goes in and out every so often.. then it finally stayed on..

ive had the amp since march, same set up since, havnt changed any of the wiring within the last month or 2. ground is perfect metal-to-metal no paint straight to chassis, everything has been wired correctly, RCA cables are in good condition still..

heres what we can rule out:

voltage issue - remained the same at all power and grounds

bad fuse connection - new fuse, my highs amp still works

bad rca's - i switched them out for a different pair, problem still occured

bad ground - moved the ground to seperate areas, still occured

amp is not clipping

speaker wire connection - wires are all intact/not frayed and connected properly

subs arent blown - reading 1.7ohms at the amp and at the speaker terminals

Check your inline fuse. Maybe burnt a little and causing this issue. If there is any abnormal look to fuse then that is your issue.
not the fuse, i replaced it after the fact to see if it was that but still does it. and it cant be that because the amp for my highs still works and it just runs off the distro.

Even if it looks perfectly normal, I would recommend popping a new one in there for kicks and giggles. I had one that went on me and looked perfectly normal.

Are you clipping? Make sure all your wires are in there TIGHT
tight enough to strip almost. and no clipping, only at full volume, which on HU it goes to 35 i normally dont go past 30(on my AQ bass knob it glows red when clipping).

RCA's mabye. Swap out head unit?? Or mabye the amp. I have you emailed AQ yet.
figured id work on the problem myself to find a solution and post here for help after ive checked everything i needed to before getting them into it.
