well hood pins aren't the first things on my mind whenever i get in my truck to go somewhere, but now they are

Well, you see....there were these guys on mopeds, who boxed me in on the highway, and while i wasn't looking they took 'em...therefore my hood flew open

Its not to good to run without a hood. the way vehicles aerodynamics are built is that certain panels force air into the engine bay, the hood being one of them. You lose some cooling action.

yes, i'm pretty sure someone stole them....i was at school these guys were around my truck and talked about how much they liked my hood pins ( idk why), but that afternoon when i left school i made it home, but leaving my house on the way to work my hood flew open...now i'm not sayin they couldn't have fallen out but, they pretty snug in there and i dont see them just falling out, but my hood latch is working and i have a bolt and nut, where the pins were so i dont see the hood flying up again, i just thought it would be cool to show my motor.

Poor aerodynamics, parts will be stolen, visually unappealing, engine will get dirty as hell (nothing wrong with water getting in it, though). Are more reasons necessary?

I wouldn't do it. People might just feel the need to borrow that msd ignition. Or your air cleaner you have bolted down with a wing nut. Wires are always fun to cut if your in that kind of mood. Eh why not cut the fuel lines too and the throttle cable.

If you didn't get the point from that. Get a hood.
