anything wrong with running no hood???

well a few weeks ago somebody stole my hood pins causing my hood to fly open at roughly 50mph, and i warped my hood my cowl and snapped my windshield wiper...and i figured since i do have a 302 v8 (in a toyota pickup (4cyl came stock) ) , chromed out and msd everything, why not let everybody see it....but is there anything bad about running no hood?

Rain and crap getting into your engine. Will decrease gas mileage. Looks gay. Easy to steal shit

Well, you see....there were these guys on mopeds, who boxed me in on the highway, and while i wasn't looking they took 'em...therefore my hood flew open

cover it up, a lot easier for people to steal sh!t. especially if your battery is still in the engine bay. wont harm anything though if you do, as long as all your wiring harnesses are still waterproof.
