anyone with exhaust on a 4cyclinder?

they say that one is a 4.5", but there is no way to tell the pic is of the 4.5"

and you were the one hating on me right??? uh huh...... 3" wasnt as AMAZINGLY huge and ridiculous of an idea as you said now was it.

EDIT; i understand that it wont drastically increase mpg, but thats not the ONLY reason i would put an exhaust on my car. That is the main reason, but performance/noise is also not a bad thing to gain. Unless of course we are talking fart can.

wait, are you planning on going with a 3" pipe? Or exhaust tip?

haha, the next new fad. No more coffee can exhausts, they will all be 4" Aero Ports from PE lol. We will start getting questions on here about why their aero port exhaust tip is melting.

haha thanks man, i meant a 3" exhaust tip (like the one seen on the ebay link) i guess. I honestly dont know. I wasnt talking about 3" pipes from the headers all the way back though.

The only 4 banger 'aftermarket' exhaust that I like is the Ford Zetec with the SVT 2.5L V6 exhaust swap, on a Ford Contour.

I'm not sure if this was mentioned, but what kind of car do you have?

I would do a cold air intake for starts. It's cheap and easy to do yourself. It'll make the tone deeper too but mostly in the higher rpms. My cold air gained me almost 5 MPG on my honda engine.

A lot of cars come with resonator boxes below the factory intake and a cold air will go right below where it was. Removing the resonator is what also really helps. Since people wanted cars to be quiet, stock intakes don't take in as much air but you lose HP and mileage. I'm not sure if newer cars come with resonators anymore because of gas mileage.
