2 dd 9515 composits = $14002 ab 500.1 amps = $2400

4 kinetik 2400s = $1000

and wires and mdf for box = $200

that will put you into the 150db club it done right

to teh OP, if your not goin to install it, you might want to cut back on your budget, bc the shop is going to **** you so you need to take that into account of everything you buy. an it wont take 5k to beat out 4 Pioneers.

ahh wow thank you all. i've learned some more stuff from what you all have told me. yea i know that DDs are loud and can take a beating, just not so interested in DDs sorry =(. i know its very good n shit but just dont kno how to explain it to u haha. yes i would spend about 5K on a system. i want to be very loud and yet still enjoy clear bass.

well its rated power is 3000 watts. thats said to be the max.... but they say that 1000 is RMS. i was thinking that it wouldnt be true RMS.... i was thinking that it would get around 900 watts true RMS. but still his system is pretty loud.

why dont you stop being a stupid ******* with your money and spend it on something thats actually worth a ****..like a better vehicle (not raggin on your vehicle, im just saying its a better investment).

personally, i (nor anyone else on here) believe you have even $1k to spend on a sound system..much less 5. and if you do have $5k, be wiser. spending it so "your the loudest kid in the parking lot" is stupid. take a trip, invest, go out on a few dates and dont let money be a concern. do something. not on a sound system.

i can pretty much assure you i could be the loudest kid in your parking lot with my 2 ssd 10s and my 1500.1. and after subs, amp, wiring, wiring accessories, wood, glue..etc that was probably around $950.

spend your money wiser. its not easy to come by..atleast when your not in highschool. besides..once you get everything installed and turn it up at school to show off..itll be gone the next morning.

the biggest box you can fit tuned to 35ish hz (I would say about 47hz, but you said you want a little "better" sounding bass)

you could and should be up in the high 140s.

I doubt anyone in your HS is in the 150s or even in the mid 140's range.

I put 400 dollars into a system and was in the mid 140's... you should not have a problem getting into the 150's w. 5000 dollars.
