i have a 96' ford explorer. I had a sony xplod head unit, and got rid of it because i thought it was bad. It would have a bad cracking/ popping sound and is especially bad when subs are on....so i got a pioneer, and same thing. So not head unit.

im trying to think of what it could be. it obviouly in wiring or something. The weird part is, when i put new cd player in, i had to redo all wires, and stuff, so it is highly unlikely that i screwed up twice....

well not amp, cause you can hear it (not real bad cause its not any bass) whe nthe subs are off. I have the rcas and the REM wire run together, but i really dont think it would hurt it. Would it?

no that should be fine.

Where are the sounds coming from woofer or speakers?

when music is on, when it is muted, voume up/down, radio/cd every thing!!!!! stops only when cd player is off!!!!

oh, and like i said, its been 2 cd playerS!!!

like a bump bump bump bump crackle bump bump bump, and it sucks.....its like a ground bad or something..... IDK
ya from what your saying that would be a problem with your RCA's or a bad grounding spot. Did you change out the RCA's when you got the new HU?
