ios is popular cause it is simple and easy to use. It is the smartphone for people afraid of computers. Android is definitely superior. Apple= JL audio while android= sundown, DD etc
Idk who thinks thier iphone is just as fast, but my nexus blows everyone i know iphones away. And multitasking it gets even worse for ios, especially compared to android 4.0.
I like this statement haha, there still is not true multitasking on the iOS devices. More of a protective sandbox and battery saver than anything, but certainly annoying.
Compared loading websites and apps with the 4s vs my buddies nexus and my iphone beat his almost every time on wifi. SOMETIMES we were just about even.
ggttyl
and afraid of computers.. lol.. don't make me laugh
wifi is the best way to tell hardware performance.. it was on legit wifi.. why would a "superior" phone not be as fast on something like wifi
That is more or less up to the browser. Dolphin HD for instance will cut down the page load time on an android phone to much below any iOS device. Sometimes this is because companies like verizon and sprint and att make devilish deals with hardware providers to load softwares.....
The day flash player is supported by iOs is the day I will begin to even consider iOS in comparison to Android. Android isn't perfect but it has far fewer limitations than iOS. What I don't like about Android is there is no option to switch through different apps and they will still run in the background when you close them. I really think webOS is better than both, but its market is so much smaller and it never caught on to the masses. I'm considering reactivating my old webOS phone because I miss it so bad.
WebOS was wonderful, but poor marketing killed it. Android does have app switching, hold down the home button.......
I always hear this in the iPhone vs. Droid argument. WTF are you "customizing?" Are you making pretty glitter screens or what?
The other thing I always hear is how fast the Droid is. What's faster? I don't get it. I've used an iPhone FOREVER and never find myself tapping my foot waiting on something to load. Pandora on my iPhone straight owns the Nexus'. So much so that I couldn't even use it. And that's one app that I use every single day. Laggy doesn't even begin to describe how bad it was. Same service, same areas and my iPhone kills it.
I downloaded that JuiceDefender thing for my Nexus to try to conserve batt life. Seems like all it did was turn off the stuff that I wanted running. I didn't use it any more than I use my iPhone and the battery life was straight up miserable. You can't tell me not to use it to conserve batt life. AND it took FOREVER to charge. Seriously, like 10 hours plugged into the wall to go from 30% to 77%? And then back to 30% on the 1 hour ride home. No thanks. The iPhone takes like 30 minutes to charge.
The buttons on the Nexus (and probably other Droids) are poorly placed. The wake/sleep button is exactly opposite the volume rocker. Every time I wake or sleep it, I was adjusting the volume. The ringer would be off or stupid loud. My headphones wouldn't be on or would blow my eardrums out. Lame. And why the hell would I need the volume control when I'm BT'ing to my HU? And the headphone jack is in the worst spot. On the bottom? Really?
WooHoo!! Ice Cream Sandwich!!11! Big f'n whoop. Put a **** clock you can read on the home screen.
Gorilla glass is pretty awesome though. And I did enjoy some of the text features on the Droid. Like, not having to scroll for punctuation and having word suggestions right there. But, there was no "return" button to seperate thoughts in a text. It had to be seperate texts or one long run-on. That's dumb.
Pandora loads fine on my android phone and its much older than the nexus.
Car charger will take a long azz time to charge any phone. I cant speak for the nexus but my current phone is pretty awesome for battery life and fills up quick when on the wall. I know that recently folks have been having issues with battery life when using the Facebook app (download tinfoil for facebook just //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif)
Samsung phones **** me off. the sleep wake button anyway. I like having volume/gain control on my phone or any other device because sometimes it clips on the deck. My old iPod had the headphone jack on the bottom and its different for every phone. Poor argument.
You can change the clock on an android phone to whatever you want. You can even download new ones. Poor argument.
Most all phones have tough glass including the iphone. I dont know what youre talking about with the texting app either, I have a return button on my phone and always have through every iphone and android device. Perhaps you are retarded.
