Any of you use an Android head unit?

Been looking at getting one - the Atoto S8 Ultra. Primary reason is the digital output, which for some reason is rare. I really hate the HU doing digital to analog, the DSP doing analog back to digital, and then digital back to analog again. Would be ideal to only have one conversion from digital to analog.

Mainly use bluetooth. Occasionally use android auto. For this HU I could also load my music on to a micro sd or usb stick and play it directly on the HU using VLC media player (which is what I use on my phone when I'm using bluetooth)

Main downside seems to be having a piece of Chinese hardware connected to the internet lmao

I use a Joying made for my vehicle with coaxial output. Climate and steering controls right out of the box. I really like it so far. I use usb sticks with the Onkyo app.

I had a Joying in my last car and a Atoto a6 pf in my current daily commuter car. My only complaint with either of them was that the screen is too bright at night. ( I prefer a dim dash board). But their are apps that solve the issue.
