Ladie's like my pole
I have a mm75.4 bridged on my cdt's pushing about 150rms. When I upgraded my wire to 0 gauge from battery to a distro splitting into 4 gauge for the amps I forgot the ground wires terminal ring for my high amp back at school so I left the 8g ground. A week ago I upgraded that ground to 4g. I havent driven the truck much since Ive been at my parents but I took it out last night to run to mobile for a concert (an hour drive). Well on long drives I play my music fairly loud. I had the deck at 50/80 which I usually keep it around 50-60/80. well 45 min into the drive the highs cut out so I turned everything off. Went to the show and when I was leaving I turned everything back on and it was working so I figured the amp must've gotten hot and shut off. On the way home I kept it around 45-48/80 and it did fine but when I got home I went and touched the amp and it was way to hot.
Long story short would a bad ground cause my amp to get hot or am I looking at another problem?
