Amps are a ripoff?

i used to be very concerned with my subs and the cost, and i recently started looking into amps but i realized if im gunna be spening 500 dollars for two subs, and they require nearly 1000rms, how much fricken money do i have to spend on a nice amp to power them, i keep seeing the amsp taht say like 2600w rms and i look and for 4 ohms, mono class D amp it says at 4 ohms it would give me lik 250 rms to each sub, for 350 dollrs id want more than that, any help, suggestions, good brands, bargains, or straight up truth about what im gunna have to pay to power them

Check out a Hifonics BXi2006d puts out around 1800rms for around $300, or Hifonics Bxi2607d puts out a little less that 2600rms for around $400, or check out Power Acoustik A3000db, 2300rms for around $300 I believe.

Edit: you need 2000 @ 4ohms? Sure you can't wire to 1?

still thats 1.2@ 4 ohms... expensive....why not go with 2 ohms or get 'smaller' subs?

Power Acoustik A3000db.....one's for sale in the classifired for 250, and i garuntee you you wont find a better amp for the money. itll do circles around the hifonics or any other amp in that price range

You could get a RF punch150. It will do 300rms+ x2 @ 4ohms for under $200. Its a class a/b but it over 60% efficient.
