Well I was hunting around a while trying to find a place to send my Orion 2500d

first someone reccomended me CIA, but right off the bat I didnt like them. Their customer service over the phone was terrible.

Then I was reccomended DB-r electronics but he was backed up due to a move.

So I called SPECTRONIX Located in Logmont CO very close to where I live.

Customer service:

Was ok. When I would call in the morning I would get this guy who wasnt very helpful and would give me half assed answers. But when I would call in the afternoon I would get a lady, who was always very helpful.

Quoting service:

They hit this one Dead on. I explained the problem in detail, they quoted $119.95 + shipping. $119.95 + shipping is what it was.

Shipping/Packaging:

A+ Was absolutely the best shipping job I have ever seen. You could have dropped this thing off of a cliff and it would have been just fine.

Things that went wrong:

They said it would take a month to get back to me. But hey, I sent it during Christmas Season so it took a month in a half to get back to me.

Also they messed up on my address so it took another extra 3 days to get to me

Overall pretty good place.

what turned out to be wrong with it?
I remember you were having an issue with it buzzing or something
The amp would power up just fine. But whatever was hooked up to it just made a popping noise.

All I got from them was Something was wrong with the circuit board. Its just impossible to talk directly with the techs.

I see but 120 isnt a bad repair price for a sweet amp
Word. They sent me an email telling me it was going to be an extra 100$ I called up and was like wtf? And the nice lady there was all ok thomas its going to be 119.95

I was like ok sweet heres my Visa numbers

and I now have thumps in my car:D:D:D:D Ahh I cant stop smiling I just missed bass so much

Crap, never knew the place existed. I'm just north of Longmont, I might have to pick up some cheap blown amps and see what they can do //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Hell yea, you could just go there personally. Im in northern UT. I did 3 day shipping via ups. Only around 20 bucks, and shipping shipping back on the bill was only 18$//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Thanks for the post man, I'll be digging for deals now. Never trusted shipping an amp out. Having it local where I could yell at people if they slack off or fuk up would be perfect //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Audiotekx is also very professional and reputable. Sent them an Orion XTR-200 to replace some leaking caps and they did a stellar job and very reasonable to boot.
