Hey everyone,

I have a JL TMA T2 1000.1 amplifier and the other day it quit powering my sub. I got around to looking at it today and noticed the "protect" light is on. I re-attached the ground, and battery cables, still on. I then checked the fuses, all we're alright, and even unplugged the speaker wire and the RCA cables, and the light still turns on. I have done all that i can think of doing...

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

We grinded the paint off and screwed the ground to my frame. I have a kicker CVX 12" at 1ohm I believe. It's been working for over a year, it just recently went out

I'd try wiring the subs to 4 ohm (series parallel) and see if that makes the problem go away.

I would try a pair of Bass Blockers on the rear speakers. I always place them on Coax. speakers generally, Should help quite a bit I like PAC ones...
