amp/subs wiring

2ohm or 8ohm operation depends on if you wire it in a series or parallel. Series = 8ohm operation, Parallel = 2ohm operation. Each sub is consiting of 2, 4 ohm voice coils. So what it is saying is 1 sub with both voice coils wired either in series or parallel will be either an 8ohm or 2ohm load on the amp. If you were to wire them in a parallel on each speaker and then parallel between the two you will come out with a 1ohm load and your amp will be pushing at peak wattage to each of the subs.

Sorry.....was thinking you had two speakers. Has been a long day! Try wiring it like this......
