Amp Setup Suggestions

I am going to run 2 MAW12s which are DVC 4 ohm and i want to give them somewhere between 300-350RMS

I have been told that the Hifonics BXi 606 will work but is it good to run that amp at 1 ohm with the gain turned all the way up or will it overheat?

If its better i will get the Hifonics BXi 1206D and just turn the gain setting down
