Other "small" 2 channel amps that do full power at 4 ohms stereo like the JL300/2

Are there any "smaller" sized 2 channel amps like the JL 300/2 that do full power at 4 ohms stereo? Basically all 2 channels I see do full power at 2ohms x2 or 4ohms x1. I cannot think of any more mainstream models..

I wish I could find one to "match" my RE35.1D asthetically.

The new pdx2.150 are the stuff. I love them personally. First ehy are small as hell. Dont even get hot after day of being on. Man those amps are so cool. I personally use the pdx4.150. These are my favorite amps right now. They are small and you can satck them right on top of each other witht the screw they supply. Not ghetto looking atcuatlly look like building blocks. I bought them to power my highs and mids. If they came out with a bigger one like 2000 or 4000watts I would be all over it.

The PDX is a class D though right? I have been out of the audio game for a long time, however last I heard, class D's weren't the greatest thing for mids/highs in terms of sq?

Well I think the stardard for THD now is 1% unless your going to spend high dollar. So they are making class D 2 and 4 channel amps. You will get alot more out of your amp at a THD that MOST people cant tell a diff with anyway.I think that the new Alpine amps are between 80-90 % efficient. They are very small and fit almost anywhere.I too would recommend the new alpine amps. The only thing I have heard about them on the not so positive side, is that they get alittle warm but other then that they are great amps.Actually the last few years alpine is really getting back into it again.HTH

Quite interesting....I haven't really ever given Alpine a chance other than with their head units (and I really dislike any of their newer headunits from 2006 and up).

And that is a pretty outdated view //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

There aren't a whole lot of full range class D amps in car audio. But there is a very wide multitude of them in home audio, and has been for decades.

You won't hear a difference between a quality class A/B and a quality class D.
