Amp setting

I have two amps, a 200 watt for door speakers and a 600 watt mono for my one 15" sub. I just put in the 600 and it doesn't work unless it is set to slave. The amps are not connected at all. Should it be that way? Prob not Im guessing so what do u think I did wrong? Will it hurt anything being set that way? Also, I have my sub wired in series.

also, I am getting very little volume out of the front speakers. When I change the gain on the amp nothing changes with the speakers. Any ideas????

PLEASE HELP

there are two for the front and two for the rear that go into the smaller amp for the speakers then there is a set of them for the other one that powers the sub. Maybe I am misunderstanding the question sorry. Kind of new at this still.

Out of the HU how many sets(left and right/red and white) are there?

It sounds like you have a front and a rear set. The RCA's for the small door amp should get the front and the sub amp should get the rear set. If you have 3 sets, 2 for the front/rear and a sub then make sure the sub output goes to the sub amp.

The rca's are in the input. I have tried about all different configs and it only works this way. The other amp doesnt have a master/slave option either.
