Amp problem

i have a crunch powerzone pz1500.1 it only works with it turned all the way down when i turn it up it emits a very loud humming noise not like the regular hum u are thinkin about this isnt engine noise its a full blast loud hum when u turn the amp down it cuts completely off at about 10% how do i fix this and if its the amp is it worth fixing thanks
