Ok so i currently have a Old Style Memphis Mojo 4KW. I have some one locally who is thinking about buying it from me. I can sell the Mojo and get a Audiopipe Aqx3500.1 which is still a good amount of power @ 1 ohm and still have about $150 left over after its all said and done. I only have about $325 actually in the Mojo anyway. I have came across clamp numbers will researching for the Aqx3500.1 and i was impressed by these. I also figure that it would be easier on my trucks electrical when it comes down to it. Seeing the AQX's fuse rating/draw is 250amps vs the Mojo 4k is like 400-500amps and me being able to keep voltage higher with the AQX i should get just as much if not the same amount of power out of the AQX anyway. Some of the 1 ohm clamps from it showed d@mn near 4k from it. So to me this does not seem like a bad idea. And please no Audiopipe bashers.

Thoughts?

i did and the models before 2010 were the ones that had that problem. They revised the AQX's and fixed that problem.

Yea but the 1 ohm clamp u saw from it was probably wired at .25 nominal and rising to 1 ohm and knowing ap is sone dirty clipped to shlt powee..save urself some disappointment and jus get a aq3500.1

actually wired from .5 rising to alittle over 1 ohm, 13.4v, and it was clean. yea im not finding a AQ3500.1 anytime soon for the price im looking for lol

Aq3500.1 is on sale for 635 free ship cant beat that..and i wouldnt trade the mojo down to ap...yea the mojo is a current hog but at least it puts out the power

i mean i only hear mixes with the ap & apsm line doing dirty power or not doing rated. this line however did do rated + FOR SURE and was clean. Its pretty much the same board as a RD 3250.1 V2. the RD 3250v2 is a BEAST if you get one that doesnt blow. With that being said, when they were made a couple years ago there were some problems with it. Which Audiopipe had the AQX's revised and the problem corrected. Yea ive done alot of reading on them lol. but im just curious like you are. but of course since its AP, you know the rest

not daily, but i will be burping it at .25 if i do IASCA IDBL this year. Oh yea they handle .25ohm burps as well

the mojo at low voltage isnt gonna have awesome output anyway vs the AQX staying above say 13-13.5v or more. even with these dekas the mojo is still gonna drop me down to probly mid 12s or lower.
