amp for these subs

ok so i get the 1000 watt rms alpine amp with 4 ohm setup for speakers i wanna get the pioneer DEH-P7700MP head unit or whatever you call it cuz it looks like all i need imma need some 4 guage wire for that amp??? and i think imma hook four tweeters up to the mosfet50x4 in my head unit i havent really picked out the tweeters yet but the Rockford Fosgate Punch P1T tweeters look good and i dont want to take up any more room than i have to with the big crossover so any problem with my selection so far?

I think we need to start from scratch here. Answer these questions for us -

1.) How much money do you have to spend total on everything you're looking to get?

2.) What are you looking to get? (Head unit, speakers, subs, amps, ect.)

3.) What are you trying to get out of your system? Sound quality? Just something to piss off your neighbors?

4.) How much space do you have to work with?

hmm the alpine amps cant be wired to 1 ohm (unless the new models can) You should check out some Hifonics amps. I believe you can get em realatively cheap and they can go down to 1 ohm stable. and why do you want 4 tweeters? do you have any midbass?

Alright well let's get down to business. $1,000 can get you some nifty stuff. Here's what I would suggest -

Head Unit - Alpine CDA-9851 $184 via http://www.ebay.com

Components (tweeters and midrange woofers) - RE RE Components $180 via http://www.reaudio.com

Component Amplifier - Soundstream Rubicon 300.2 $100 via http://www.ebay.com

Subwoofer - RE SE 10" ~$250? via http://www.reaudio.com or the Classifieds section

Subwoofer Amplifier - Soundstream Van Gogh 600.2 $200 via http://www.ebay.com

Grand total - $914, just enough left over for wiring and box building materials.

EDIT - I completely forgot about Ascendant Audio. Go to http://www.ascendantaudio.com and check out their Atlas line. I've been hearing nothing but good things about them.

You've got a wide range of options for just about everything but that'll give you some idea as to what to look at.

Amplifiers - Phoenix Gold, US Amps, Cadance, PPI, Soundstream, Eclipse, Diamond Audio, Elemental Designs, Orion

There are a bunch more to look at but that's all that comes to mind right now.

i'd say instead of the re se get a soundsplinter rl-p. cause i've bin hearing the rl-p competing with the xxx and the brahmas on this forum and it's around the same price as the se. dunno, but seems like a better buy.

the se10 is NOT 250, as the 15" SX is around 279 or so. i'd take an se anyday over any sound splinter. i could call it an HC also, and no one (except if u really know what ur looking at) would know otherwise.
