2. when i hook the amp up, should it be tweeters on 1 channel and drivers on the other? or 1 side 1 channel? idk if it makes a diff. either way

thanks in advance for help... extra thanks for the most helpful response //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif

Left channel will go to left crossover which goes to left tweeter and left woofer, and right channel will go to right crossover which goes to right tweeter and right woofer. Don't worry about the ohm rating, the SAX125.2 will power 3 ohm fine. The power will be about 160watts/channel.

Edit: At $300 for component speakers, why not take a look at other, less mainstream brands? The DLS UP6i's are great, and so are the Image Dynamics CXS64 V.2's.

i figured those would be a solid choice, i dont know much about car audio so im still open to suggestion as far as a component set goes. my price range is 3-400. i just dont want the tweets to be piercing... warm but loud i guess. i listen to mostly hip hop, r&b occasional rock but nothing too heavy. ive looked into the id's a bit and there seems to be alot of people on hear who like them.

mainstream, underground whatever, i dont care about names, just what sounds good for the money im spending
