I've had this Orion 2150gx for a long *** time. A friend dropped it off at my house blown probably 12 to 15 years ago and it sat and collected dust until about 3 years ago when I first attempted to repair it knowing nothing about repairs. After much procrastination and a couple painful lessons I'm happy to say she is alive again. I've replaced all output and power supply transistors, all electrolytic capacitors, all driver and pre driver transistors, and all tantalum capacitors as well as fabricated some endcaps and a bottom plate for it as it never had any when I got it. I picked up a matching orion 280 gx in decent shape for 30 bucks off of craigslist last week that I plan to refurbish in a similiar fashion. I smell an oldschool amp install coming. Only problem is that these are not bridgeable but a bridging module can be made rather easily to take care of that. Here is a few pics of the amp ,not in too bad of shape considering it is over 20 years old :
all i really need to finish her up is to get some of the original colored speaker wiring and some white lettering for the input end of the amp.
