I'm in need of a new ride and want one that is built properly and will last a lifetime.

why do u want it to last a lifetime?

U do see more old american cars on the road but you hardly ever see a 25 year old jap mobile crusin

high resale doesnt mean high build quality, means demand , from fan boys and whatever other reasons people choose to spend 2 or 3 k less then new on a used car

there is truth to this. the link i posted has fanboi cars like the M3 or Evo or WRX STi.

i see quite a bit of late 80s early 90s hondas, nissan, and toyotas including my 92 civic.

Yea,I do not...I miss those late 80s Jap Sports cars too...Supras were badasz

also we dont have emissions/inspections here. that may or may not be a factor. lol
