I hate it when companies rate amps at double their continuous power. Not only does it seem rather dishonest, it doesn't do much for people who compete in organizations with power limited classes.

If it was me I would've gotten one big mono instead of 3 huge 2 channels.

The big mono blocks (over 5K) are notoriously unreliable and hellishly expensive to fix when they blow up.

Probably will work out nice, but a big step back for AB who had some fairly under-rated amps.

Yeah forgot to factor that in. Ab makes great amps that's for sure. Still don't understand why they rate the amps the way they are.

these amps will run mids. they are rated at 1500 rms per ch. if you think the vfl amps are overrated you obviously have not used the product. the amps are rock solid. if you go to world finals you will see many many ab amps. this year at wf there were more ab amps than just about anyother brand. i was there. i know. i was the one running the white ab van at the door.

vfl series are beast of amps. 1100.1 is for my new build. Cant wait!
